Question: Is there something wrong with a man who has no anger?
...? The bible teaches James 1:19-20 "My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires." and Psalm 15:1 "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." But they say Jesus was angry when he drove out the merchants in the temple... the scriptures don't explicitly say that... and just prior to that, Jesus entered the city peacefully. Surely he knew what was going on in the temple -- would he enter peacefully to go stir up trouble? One commentary says of Jesus' entrance on a donkey "Jesus was announcing that he was indeed a king, but not a warrior-king (Moule 1965:87; E. Sanders 1993:242). Jesus was the meek one (11:29; 12:18-21; compare 5:5)." it would seem truer to character to view Jesus as being meek in the situation of driving out the merchants from the temple as opposed to angry.
no... i suppose there is nothing wrong with a man with no anger.
