me -- reality -- my view of it... first premise: is there one reality or one real? yes -- there must be, for the simple fact that, if all of reality is not based solely on my existence, then there must be a greater existence maintaining everything that is not under my control, and since it is thus so powerful, therefore it must also control everything within my realm as well. now here is my leap of faith -- God is sovereign over all. (perhaps I'll dissect that more later and diagram it somehow.) what am I basing my view(s) of reality on? my own observations. my own observations are limited (if not flawed, but that's another element in and of itself). Thus, in an attempt to expand my observations and wealth of insight, I seek the advice and opinions of others to verify my own views and thoughts. hmm... confession there... i'm really seeking to verify my own views and thoughts rather than seeking correction and the truth of the matter, because I believe I see it already, I just need to double check it to be sure that it's right. my source for confirmation is limited (if not flawed) as well, when my source is another person. (thoughts running... actions spurring...)
