Day 2) ... Dear Lord, as you protect my purity, I ask that you extend your infinite power to surround and protect her purity too. You have blessed her with such beauty that other men will want it for their own trophy to hold up and put on display, you have created her heart so loving that other men will want it for their own to lean on and leech off of. Lord I ask that you will protect her and not enable her to get involved with any men who seek only her body. Lord I ask that you will protect her and not enable her to give her heart to men who are broken, lost, and needy because they do not fully seek your heart O Lord. Just as you protect her from temptations without, I plead earnestly for you to protect her from temptations within. Please encourage her to know that you are faithful, and that you have made her complete in you, yet you still have me here to fit into the place in her heart set aside for me to give to her what Christ has given to me to give to her. Whatever encouragement, whatever support, whatever resources, and all the love that I have been given to give only to you. To be honest, my heart grows weary in carrying this for you and is heavily tempted to just pour it out into any girl that may be even the smallest bit interested -- but God is not allowing me the opportunity to do such and thus robbing you of your gift. He is strengthening me and building me into the man he wants me to be. Because we will be equally yoked, I pray for strength for you as well as I am sure there are times when you grow weary of carrying it too. Lord please give her endurance and grow within her patience, fill her with your spirit and give her rest as she labors on this earth and you continue to build her into the woman you want her to be.
